离光速仅一步不可逾越之遥
今天上课说到three phase electronic motor,瞎兴奋了一阵,就一个问题,只要得到肯定的答案,那that’s gonna be a revolution of the whole universe!!
The three phase electronic motor consists of a stator and a rotor inside, the stator produces a spining magnetic field, cutting the aluminum conductor placed on the rotor. Then potential is being produced across the aluminum conductor, it can be found by E=B.L.v where B is the flux density, L is the conductor length and v is the relative velocity of spining between magnetic field and the conductor. Once the potential been produced, a current is generated and be found by ohms law, which is I=E/R. Then the rotor starts to spin since a force found by F=B.I.L, the whole system has a feature that F increases when velocity goes up. NOW, the question is: CAN THE ROTOR SPIN IN A INVERSE DIRECTION OF THE MAGNETIC FIELD’S?!! If it’s so, obviously, the ralative velocity will be brought up forever! Image what we can get then? Yes, you are right! The force increase forever and we can reach the speed of the light or even faster!!! I was asking my lecturer this question falteringly!! Saddest, the answer is sooooooooooo clear: NO! Definitely not~~
We’re sooooooooooo close to the revolution but not reaching there…… Sigh!! Better wake up from day-dreaming and go for the assignments and exams!!
